Classic compact rolling-block action with octagonal barrel, open sights, straight-grip walnut stock and matching forearm. Barrel retains an attractive aged blue/brown patina, while the receiver shows honest finish wear from age and use. Wood is in good condition for its age with scattered handling marks and no major damage visible. A desirable early Remington sporting rifle with plenty of character and a great addition to a rolling-block or antique rimfire collection.
