A classic and increasingly collectible Remington Nylon 76 lever-action rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle, manufactured in August 1962 during the model’s first year of production.

The Remington Nylon 76 is one of the more unusual American rimfire rifles of the 1960s. Produced from 1962 through 1965, it combined a traditional lever-action mechanism with Remington’s innovative nylon stock design. Unlike conventional wood-stocked rifles, the Nylon 76 utilized lightweight, durable synthetic construction that was ahead of its time.

Production was relatively limited, making the Nylon 76 considerably less common than the popular Nylon 66.

This example is in good used condition for its age, showing only a few handling marks and small scratches consistent with normal use over more than 60 years. The rifle presents nicely overall, and the bore is excellent, with strong rifling.
