Republic of Vietnam Service Medal

Bronze medal featuring bamboo stalks and a stylized dragon symbolizing resilience and Vietnamese heritage. The observe reads “Republic of Vietnam Services” Awarded by the South Vietnamese government to military personnel for honorable service during the Vietnam War. 

Ribbon is yellow with three red central stripes, and green edge stripes, representing the former national colors of South Vietnam. Often issues to South Vietnamese forces and occasionally to allied personnel. This example retains original ribbon and is housed in original protective sleeve.
