Ruger M77 Mark II “Boat Paddle” Zytel Stock – 7.62x39 – Weaver 3-10x Scope

Ruger Model 77 Mark II bolt-action rifle chambered in the desirable 7.62x39mm cartridge and fitted with Ruger’s distinctive early Zytel skeleton-style “boat paddle” stock. These rugged stocks have developed a strong following among Ruger collectors and hunters and are no longer produced.

This example is in excellent used condition. The blued metal finish is especially nice, retaining excellent color and gloss with only very minor evidence of handling. Bolt and action are clean, and the original black Zytel stock with molded Ruger logo and contrasting grip/forearm inserts is also in excellent shape.

The rifle is topped with a Weaver 3-10x44mm scope mounted in Ruger-style rings. The 7.62x39 chambering is one of the more interesting configurations found in the M77 Mark II series, combining the cartridge with Ruger’s traditional controlled-feed bolt-action platform.

A particularly attractive example for someone specifically looking for a 7.62x39 Ruger or one of the increasingly collectible paddle-stock rifles.
