Savage Model 24F .22 Hornet / 12 Gauge Over-Under Combination Gun – Scope – Chokes & Tool

This is an excellent used-condition Savage Model 24F combination gun chambered in .22 Hornet over 12 gauge. The Model 24 series has long been popular as a practical hunting and utility firearm, combining a rifle barrel and shotgun barrel in one compact platform.

This example is in excellent overall used condition. The black synthetic stock and forearm show only light handling wear, while the metal finish remains very clean with attractive factory scroll engraving on the receiver. The .22 Hornet rifle barrel is marked “Savage Model 24F Cal. .22 Hornet,” and the lower barrel is marked as a 12 gauge, 2 3/4” & 3” chamber, proof tested.

It is equipped with a Crosspoint 4-14x scope mounted on a receiver rail. The gun retains its factory-style rifle sights as well. Included are three 12-gauge choke tubes along with the original choke/tool assembly shown in the photos. A sling is also installed.

A particularly desirable Model 24 configuration due to the .22 Hornet chambering, making it useful for small game, varmints, turkey and general field use while retaining the versatility of a 12-gauge barrel.
