Savage Model 99 .250-3000 Savage – Williams Peep Sight

This example appears to be in excellent used condition with very attractive walnut furniture, sharp checkering, and a clean overall presentation. The metal retains a strong, even finish with only light handling and age-related wear visible in the photos. The rifle is fitted with a Williams receiver-mounted peep sight, giving it a very practical hunting setup while retaining the traditional feel of the Model 99.

The .250-3000 Savage is especially notable historically as one of the earliest commercial cartridges to break the 3,000 FPS mark, and rifles chambered for it tend to attract more interest than many of the more common Model 99 chamberings.

The rifle features the Model 99’s distinctive hammerless lever-action design, rotary-style internal magazine system, walnut stock and forearm, checkered grip areas, and a recoil pad. The receiver and barrel markings appear clear and legible.
