Offered here is a scarce Schimel Model P22 .22 Caliber Gas Pistol, an interesting post-war collectible manufactured by Schimel Arms of North Hollywood, California. This example remains in excellent condition and is accompanied by its original factory box, warranty card, instruction paperwork, oil bottle, and accessories.

The included warranty card is dated July 2, 1952, providing excellent period provenance. The pistol retains an attractive original finish with only light handling wear and displays very well. The original box shows expected storage wear but remains solid and highly collectible.

These gas pistols are an increasingly hard-to-find piece of mid-century Americana and are sought after by collectors of vintage gas, blank, and signal pistols.
