Smith & Wesson Model 15-3 double-action revolver chambered in .38 Special. The Model 15, commonly known as the K-38 Combat Masterpiece, is Smith & Wesson’s classic K-frame service and target revolver, combining a 4-inch barrel with an adjustable rear sight and ramp front sight.

This example is in used condition and retains a good amount of its original blued finish. There is visible finish wear, thinning, light scratches and handling marks throughout, particularly around the cylinder, frame and muzzle area, consistent with regular use. The revolver is fitted with checkered wood Smith & Wesson target-style grips with S&W medallions. The grips show noticeable handling wear, scratches and small marks but remain attractive and serviceable.

The photographs show the 15-3 model marking inside the crane. The six-shot cylinder, adjustable rear sight, exposed hammer and traditional Smith & Wesson K-frame configuration make this a classic example of one of S&W’s most recognizable .38 Special revolvers.
