Very nice Smith & Wesson Model 686-6 Plus double-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. This is the desirable 3-inch, 7-shot configuration built on Smith & Wesson’s L-frame. It will also chamber .38 Special ammunition. Smith & Wesson lists this configuration with a stainless-steel construction, 7-round cylinder, red-ramp front sight and adjustable rear sight. 

This example is in good used condition with light handling and firing wear consistent with normal use. The stainless finish presents very well overall, the bore and chambers appear clean from the photos, and it retains the factory-style rubber grips. It comes with the original blue Smith & Wesson hard case and paperwork. The case label matches the configuration as Model 686-6, .357 S&W, 3-inch barrel, SKU 164300.

The 3-inch 686 Plus is particularly desirable because it combines the full-size L-frame action with a more compact barrel while retaining the 7-shot cylinder.
