Spartan Gunworks by Remington combination over/under rifle-shotgun manufactured by Baikal in Russia. Chambered with a 12 gauge 3” shotgun barrel over a .223 Remington rifle barrel, making this an unusual and versatile hunting combination.

Features blued steel construction, checkered walnut stock and forearm, break-action design, double triggers, sling, and an adjustable rifle-barrel system. The gun is fitted with a Nikon 4-12x variable-power scope in a quick-detach style mount. The Nikon is a significant upgrade over the inexpensive optics often found on these combination guns.

Marked “Spartan Gunworks by Remington – Baikal, Russia.” These Russian-made Spartan/Baikal combination guns have been discontinued from the U.S. market, and the .223/12-gauge configuration is particularly interesting for collectors and hunters looking for one firearm capable of handling both rifle and shotgun duties.
