Springfield Stevens Model 5000 16 Gauge Side-by-Side Shotgun

Vintage Springfield/Stevens Model 5000 side-by-side shotgun chambered in 16 gauge. Features double triggers, traditional boxlock action, walnut stock and forearm, and blued steel barrels. Manufactured by J. Stevens Arms Company of Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts.

This example is in good used condition for its age, with honest finish wear and patina on the receiver and barrels. The wood remains solid and attractive with typical handling marks but no obvious major cracks visible in the photos. Classic American utility double in the increasingly desirable 16 gauge chambering.
