SS Helmet WWII

Original Shell that has had a new  leather liner installed post war.  The paint ( dark apple green) and the decal is Believed to be original. The metal liner band is stamped B&C Litzmannstadt 1943. The chin strap is stamped VA 01/38 SS.

Size 58 Liner.

The Shell is Stamped DN72 (Lot Number) and NS66 ( Mfg. Vereinigte Deutsche Nikelwerke) the 66 size shells are much harder to come by and this is a beautiful example!
