Sterling Side-by-Side 12 Gauge External Hammer Shotgun – Double Trigger

Vintage Sterling 12 gauge side-by-side shotgun featuring exposed external hammers, double triggers, top-lever break action, wood stock and splinter-style forearm. The barrels show the attractive aged brown/gray patina expected on an older working shotgun.

This example is in rough overall cosmetic condition with substantial finish loss, patina, scattered oxidation, scratches, handling marks and wear to the wood. The action and furniture show their age but retain a classic late-19th/early-20th-century appearance. Mechanically functional as represented, though due to its age it should be inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing.

A neat inexpensive old hammer double with plenty of character—well suited to a vintage shotgun collection, display, or restoration project.
