Swiss Schmidt-Rubin K31 Straight-Pull Military Rifle – 7.5x55 Swiss – All Matching Numbers – No Import Mark – Excellent Surplus Condition

Beautiful Swiss Schmidt-Rubin K31 straight-pull military rifle chambered in 7.5x55 Swiss. This example is in great military surplus condition and features all matching serial numbers, original military configuration, and the especially desirable absence of modern import markings.

The Swiss K31 was adopted by the Swiss military in 1931 and became one of the most respected military bolt-action rifles of its era. Famous for its exceptional Swiss craftsmanship, precision manufacturing, and accuracy, the K31 features a unique straight-pull bolt system that distinguishes it from conventional turn-bolt military rifles.

This example retains its full-length hardwood military stock, original military sights, detachable box magazine, distinctive straight-pull bolt assembly, and Swiss cross shield emblem on the receiver. The matching serial number 709185 is visible on the receiver and bolt.

The rifle is in great surplus condition overall. The metal retains an attractive dark finish with minor wear consistent with military service. The hardwood stock displays its characteristic light-colored finish with scattered handling marks, small scratches, and impressions from storage and use. A small Swiss inspection or acceptance marking remains visible on the buttstock.

Unlike many Swiss K31 rifles encountered on the American surplus market, this example has no visible modern import markings, making it particularly appealing to collectors who prefer rifles retaining their original military appearance.

An excellent addition to any Swiss military collection or historical firearms collection, combining matching-number components, attractive military condition, and the precision engineering for which Swiss rifles are famous.
