The rifle features a break-open single-shot action, blued barrel, engraved Contender receiver, wood forearm, and smooth thumbhole buttstock with rubber butt pad. The barrel is marked Thompson/Center Arms, Rochester, NH USA and .22 LR Match, making it a desirable rimfire configuration for accuracy-focused shooting.

Overall, this rifle presents very well. The wood has attractive grain with light handling marks, and the metal shows normal light wear/handling marks from use and storage. The barrel is drilled/tapped for scope mounting, making it ready for a rimfire optic setup.
