Original U.S. Air Force / U.S. Navy Aircrew Survival Vest, Type I, constructed of 100% Aramid Nomex fire-resistant material. Issued to aircrew operating over hostile territory during the Vietnam War era.

Features multiple integrated survival and equipment pockets, heavy-duty front zipper, mesh ventilation, and leg retention straps. Manufactured by Specialty Plastic Products of PA, Inc., a known military contractor.
