U.S. Federal Air Marshal Service PHI Byrd Folding Knife-FBD P114

Scarce U.S. Federal Air Marshal Service marked Byrd folding knife featuring an engraved Federal Air Marshal badge on the stainless-steel handle.

This knife was manufactured under the Byrd brand, Spyderco’s value-oriented knife line. The blade is manufactured from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and features a partially serrated cutting edge, distinctive Byrd opening hole and pointed profile.

The blade is marked “byrd / 8Cr13MoV” on one side and “FBD” and “P114” on the opposite side. The stainless-steel handle is engraved with a United States Federal Air Marshal badge, with “PHI” appearing beneath the badge, apparently identifying the Philadelphia field office.
