Standard-issue U.S. M7 bayonet designed for the M16 rifle platform. Featured black checkered synthetic grip panels secured by two rivits, steel crossguard with muzzle ring, and spear-point blade profile. This model replaced the WWII M4 bayonet and saw extensive service during the Vietnam War and afterward.

The M7 bayonet was introduced in 1964 for the use with the M16 rifle and remained in service through the late Cold War Era. It represents one of the most widely issued U.S. bayonets of the Vietnam period.
