Original U.S. military optical component believed to be associated with the M49 observation spotting scope system or similar Cold War / Vietnam-era military optics equipment. Finished in matte black with ruggedized military construction and threaded mounting points.

Features an internal lens assembly with adjustable mounting hardware and heavy-duty cast/aluminum body construction designed for field use. This appears to be an auxiliary optical attachment, eyepiece housing, or scope component removed from a larger military observation system.
