Offered here is an original TS-184A/AP Radar Test Set, housed in its correct U.S. military transit case with accompanying cables and accessories. This specialized piece of electronic test equipment was developed for servicing and calibrating airborne radar systems used by the U.S. Army Air Forces and later the U.S. Air Force during the closing years of World War II and into the early Cold War period.

The rugged olive drab transit case retains its original military stenciling, while the test unit features clearly marked controls, frequency and attenuator meters, military data plates, and original military connectors. Included are several original accessory components, probe assemblies, cables, and internal storage compartments, making this a far more complete example than typically encountered.

Radar test equipment of this type was issued to aviation maintenance personnel responsible for troubleshooting, aligning, and maintaining sophisticated airborne radar installations. As radar technology became increasingly important during WWII, specialized equipment like the TS-184A/AP played a critical role in keeping combat aircraft mission-ready.

This example displays honest military surplus wear from service and long-term storage but remains in very good overall condition. It would make an outstanding display piece for collectors of WWII Signal Corps equipment, military electronics, aviation history, or radar technology. Its completeness and original transit case greatly enhance its desirability and display value.
