U.S. Model 1917 Enfield / P17 Complete Action – Eddystone ERA Marked – Bolt, Trigger, Magazine & Rear Sight Assembly
U.S. Model 1917 Enfield / P17 Complete Action – Eddystone ERA Marked – Bolt, Trigger, Magazine & Rear Sight Assembly
Another original U.S. Model 1917 Enfield-pattern action assembly, complete with the major components shown and in good functional used condition. This example retains its military-style receiver, bolt assembly, trigger group, trigger guard, magazine box/floorplate assembly, and rear sight components.
The receiver is clearly marked “ERA” with serial number 84564, indicating Eddystone manufacture. The action shows an honest military finish with scattered wear, scratches, patina, and finish loss from age and use. Remnants of older paint are visible on portions of the action and bottom metal, including red and white identification paint.
The bolt, trigger, magazine assembly, and rear sight components are present as photographed. This is another solid Model 1917 action that would make an excellent restoration piece, parts donor, or foundation for a vintage sporting rifle project.
