U.S. Model 1917 Enfield / P17 Complete Bolt Action – Eddystone/ERA Marked – Bolt, Trigger, Magazine & Rear Sight Assembly

Another original U.S. Model 1917 Enfield-pattern action assembly, complete with the major components shown and in good functional used condition. This example retains its original military-style configuration with receiver, bolt assembly, trigger group, trigger guard, magazine box/floorplate assembly, and rear sight components.

The receiver is visibly marked “ERA” with serial number appearing to read 65663, along with additional military inspection/proof markings. The action shows an honest aged military finish with surface wear, scratches, handling marks, and patina consistent with long-term use and storage. The magazine box has an old green painted finish, while remnants of red and white paint are visible on the underside/floorplate area, adding some interesting period character.

The bolt, trigger, magazine assembly, and rear sight components are all present as pictured. This would be a strong candidate for a military restoration, replacement-parts assembly, or custom sporting rifle project built around the robust Model 1917 action.
