U.S. Purple Heart Medal

The Purple Heart is awarded for wounds received in combat. This design was used extensively during WWII, Korea, and later conflicts. Unnamed examples like this were typically issued during WWII and early Postwar years. 

Condition: Very Good, light age wear, no ribbon.
