1918 DWM P.08 Luger 9mm – WWI Imperial German – Non-Matching / Arsenal Rework – Sharp Condition

A very attractive 1918-dated DWM P.08 Luger chambered in 9mm, manufactured during the final year of World War I. The chamber is clearly dated 1918, with the classic DWM monogram on the toggle and period German proof/acceptance markings visible on the pistol.

This example is not numbers matching and appears to have been through a military or arsenal-type rebuild/rework at some point in its service life. Because of the mixed numbers, we would consider it a shooter-grade military Luger rather than an untouched collector-matching example. That said, the overall fit and presentation are considerably better than many rebuilt Lugers encountered today.

The pistol retains strong overall finish with expected edge wear and handling marks from age and service. The checkered wood grips have a very good period appearance, and the small parts, toggle assembly, sights, and controls all present sharply. Mechanically, the pistol appears crisp and functional.
