1914 Enfield SHT.LE Mk III .303 British – Matching Numbers – Excellent Bore

Original 1914-dated British Enfield SHT.LE Mk III bolt-action military rifle chambered in .303 British. This is a very nice WWI-era example retaining its full-length military wood furniture, detachable magazine, military sights, nose cap, barrel bands and sling swivels.

The rifle is in good used military-surplus condition, showing honest service wear, handling marks and age-related finish wear throughout. The wood has an attractive dark military appearance with scattered dents and marks consistent with age and use. Metal surfaces show an even aged finish and patina without detracting from the rifle’s overall appearance.

All visible serial numbers appear to match, an especially desirable feature on an early WWI-era rifle. Numerous military inspection and proof markings remain visible throughout. The bore is excellent, with strong rifling and a notably clean appearance for a rifle of this age.
