Vietnam Era U.S. Army OG-107 Utility Shirt-“DOLAN” Reproduction MACV-SOG/Airborne Style Insignia
Original Vietnam Era U.S. Army OG-107 Utility Shirt – “Dolan” – Reproduction MACV-SOG / Airborne Style Insignia
Original Vietnam-era U.S. Army OG-107 utility shirt named to “DOLAN,” later decorated with reproduction embroidered insignia and patches in a Vietnam special operations / airborne style configuration.
The shirt itself is an authentic period U.S. Army OG-107 utility garment, constructed in the classic olive-green cotton material with button front and two large buttoned chest pockets. The garment shows genuine age, fading, handling wear, and use consistent with an original military shirt from the Vietnam era.
The name “DOLAN” and “U.S. ARMY” markings, along with the additional embroidered badges, qualification insignia, and CCS / MACV-SOG-style skull patch, are later reproduction additions and are not being represented as period-original insignia.
The reproduction decoration gives the shirt the appearance of a heavily badged Vietnam-era special operations uniform and makes it an excellent display piece without the price associated with an authenticated MACV-SOG grouping.
Condition of the original shirt is good overall for its age, with expected fading, wrinkles, minor wear, and general signs of service use. The reproduction patches and embroidery remain bright and visually strong.
This would make an excellent display piece for a Vietnam War collection, military room, reenactor display, airborne collection, or collector looking for an original period shirt with an impressive SOG-inspired presentation.
Original Vietnam-era shirt with later reproduction patches and embroidery. Sold exactly as pictured.
