Vintage Amperex 866A Mercury-Vapor Rectifier Tubes – Lot of 3 – Large Industrial/Radio Vacuum Tubes

Group of three vintage Amperex Type 866A mercury-vapor rectifier tubes, made in the U.S.A. These large transmitting/industrial vacuum tubes were designed for high-voltage rectification and were commonly encountered in heavy radio transmitters, communications equipment, industrial power supplies, and other high-voltage electronic systems.

All three have the distinctive large glass envelopes, top electrode caps, heavy internal plate structures, and four-pin bases. The Amperex/type markings remain visible, although they show varying degrees of age and wear.

The tubes appear physically intact from the photographs with no obvious broken glass. They have not been electrically tested and are being sold together as an untested collectible lot. Expect normal age-related dust, oxidation, discoloration and marking wear.
