Vintage Edge Brand #489 Hunting Knife-Solingen, Germany w/ Sheath
Crafted in the renowned cutlery city of Solingen, Germany, this vintage Edge Brand Model #489 fixed-blade hunting knife is a classic example of German craftsmanship and dependable field performance. Imported by Gutmann Cutlery during the mid-20th century, Edge Brand knives earned a reputation for quality Solingen steel and rugged outdoor utility.
This knife features a genuine stag antler handle with beautiful natural coloration, a brass finger guard, stacked decorative spacers, and an aluminum pommel. The narrow clip-point blade is well suited for hunting, skinning, camping, or everyday outdoor use. Included is the original heavy leather belt sheath with decorative tooling and a secure snap retention strap.
The blade retains an attractive aged patina from honest use, while the stag handle remains tight and free from visible damage. The leather sheath shows expected wear from age but remains fully functional and displays nicely.
