Vintage Military CG-72/U 10-Foot Coaxial Cable with Amphenol Connectors

Vintage military coaxial cable assembly bearing a metal identification sleeve marked “CG-72/U” and “10 FEET.” Features a heavy black cable jacket and Amphenol-marked metal connectors with knurled gripping surfaces.

Navy technical documentation identifies the CG-72/U as a 10-foot RG-8/U coaxial patch cable fitted with PL-259/A-type connectors, intended for connecting the TS-34/AP oscilloscope to compatible equipment for signal-input and external-synchronization testing. An interesting accessory for a military radio or vintage test-equipment restoration.

Shows surface scuffs, dirt, and age-related wear to the cable jacket, along with tarnish, scratches, and plating wear on the connectors and identification sleeve. Both connector ends are pictured. Length is stated from the identification marking and has not been independently measured.

Electrical continuity, shielding, and insulation condition have not been tested. Offered as an untested vintage cable for collection, display, or restoration. Includes only the assembly pictured.
