Vintage Rolling Block Single Shot 16 Gauge Shotgun

Vintage 16 gauge single-shot shotgun built on a rolling-block style action. This is an older utility shotgun with exposed hammer, rolling breechblock, takedown-style action hardware, wood stock and forearm, and a long round barrel. No clear manufacturer markings are visible in the supplied photos, so I would list the maker as unknown rather than attribute it without additional markings.

The shotgun is in good used condition considering its age. Metal shows an even aged brown/gray patina with scattered oxidation, finish loss and handling wear. Wood is solid appearing with normal scratches, dings and age-related wear. Action is reported to be fully functional. An interesting old working 16 gauge that has considerably more character than a modern utility single shot.
