Original vintage Western .25 Automatic center fire cartridge box with approximately 25 rounds included. The box is marked Western Cartridges, .25 Automatic, 50 grain metal case Lubaloy bullet, non-corrosive priming, and smokeless powder.

The side panel notes these cartridges were adapted for Colt, Browning, and other standard arms chambered for this cartridge. Manufactured by Western Cartridge Company, East Alton, Illinois, Division of Olin Industries, Inc.

The box is in poor vintage condition with heavy wear, crushed/softened edges, flap damage, paper loss, staining, and general fragility. Labeling remains partially readable and still has collectible display value, especially for Western/Olin pistol ammunition collectors.
