Vintage Western Super-X 16 Gauge Shotgun Shells — Full Box of 25

Original vintage Western Super-X shotgun shell box in 16 gauge, 2 9/16 inch. This is a full 25-round box with classic yellow and blue Western Super-X graphics.

The end label is marked 16 GA, 2 9/16 in. length, SX166, Maximum Load, 1 1/8 oz., and No. 6 shot. The front panel notes Long Range – Short Shot String, Rolled Crimp, Weatherproof Tube, Super-Seal Cup Wad, Progressive Burning Smokeless Powder, and Non-Corrosive Primers.

The back panel includes period Western advertising for the sealed gas chamber construction and notes the 2 9/16” length was made for use in 16 gauge automatics and other guns chambered for the 2 9/16” shell. A desirable older 16 gauge Western box with strong collector appeal.
