Vintage Western Xpert 16 Gauge Shotgun Shells — Full Box of 25

Original vintage Western Xpert shotgun shell box in 16 gauge, 2 9/16 inch. This is a full 25-round box with the classic blue and yellow Western Xpert packaging.

The end label is marked XP166, 16 GA, 2 9/16 in. length, 2 1/2 drams equivalent, 1 oz., and No. 6 shot. The front panel notes Rolled Crimp, Weatherproof Tube, Super-Seal Cup Wad, and Non-Corrosive Primers.

The back panel includes period Western advertising for the sealed gas chamber design and explains the 2 9/16” length for older 16 gauge guns and repeaters chambered for that shell length. This is a nice vintage 16 gauge Western collectible with good display appeal.
