W. RICHARDS 12ga SxS

1905-1906 manufactured W. Richards, Preston, Lancashire, hammered 12ga SxS. Excellent condition for it's age and still functions flawlessly!

Both barrels are choked 1 1/4 (imp-cyl) and measure 30" in length with 2 3/4" chambers. The barrels do have a different # than the receiver. 

This shotgun appears to be a base model "pigeon" gun, lacking the ornate engraving on the entire receiver. The barrels are marked W. Richards, 44 Fishergate Preston on the top rib.
