Offered here is a post-war commercial Walther P38 chambered in 9mm, manufactured in West Germany. Unlike the military-issued P1 pistols, this commercial P38 features the classic Walther styling and quality that made the design famous around the world.

This example remains in excellent used condition with an attractive original blue finish showing only light handling wear. The bore is bright with strong rifling, and the pistol is fully functional with a crisp single-action trigger and smooth double-action operation. The frame, slide, and controls are clean and well preserved, making it an excellent shooter as well as a collectible Cold War-era Walther.

The pistol retains its original black checkered grips with Walther banner logos, fixed combat sights, and exposed barrel locking system characteristic of the legendary P38 design. Commercial P38s are encountered less frequently than surplus P1 pistols and are becoming increasingly desirable among Walther collectors.
