The Winchester Model 1300 (also marketed as the “Speed Pump”) was introduced around 1981 by U.S. Repeating Arms Company (USRAC) as an updated version of the earlier Model 1200. It featured a rotary bolt for a fast-cycling pump action and was produced in many configurations until the New Haven, Connecticut plant closed in 2006.

Winchester had a long partnership with the National Wild Turkey Federation. For many years, sales of designated NWTF/Turkey models included a donation to the organization. Early NWTF editions (roughly mid-1980s through the 1990s) often used green laminated “Win-Cam” stocks, sometimes with engraved receivers (including limited “Gun of the Year” versions with gold-filled Rob Keck turkey scenes available through the NWTF). Later models shifted to full-coverage synthetic camo (Mossy Oak Break-Up or similar) with fiber-optic sights and the NWTF medallion.

The Model 1300 NWTF Short Turkey (sometimes listed simply as Short Turkey or Team NWTF camo variants) was introduced around 2002–2005. Specs typically include:

12 gauge, 3-inch chamber

18-inch barrel (highly maneuverable for thick cover)

Extended extra-full turkey choke tube(s)

Fiber-optic (often TRUGLO) sights; receiver drilled and tapped for optics

Full Mossy Oak camo synthetic stock with the NWTF medallion on the grip cap

Weight around 6.5 lbs

Capacity: 4+1

These were among the last U.S.-made 1300s before production ended and the design evolved into the later Super X Pump (SXP), some of which also carried NWTF branding.

Excellent used condition.
