Winchester Model 12 Skeet Grade Pump Shotgun – 16 Gauge – 1936 Production – Solid Rib

Desirable Winchester Model 12 Skeet Grade pump-action shotgun chambered in 16 gauge and manufactured in 1936. Features the sought-after solid rib barrel, attractive deluxe-style checkered walnut stock and forearm, and classic Model 12 craftsmanship that made these shotguns legendary among upland hunters and clay target shooters.

The shotgun retains an excellent overall appearance with strong bluing, clean receiver, and attractive walnut furniture showing nice grain. Marked “SKEET” on the receiver extension. The solid rib barrel is a premium feature that significantly enhances collector and shooter interest.

The buttstock appears to have been slightly shortened at some point in its life and fitted with a recoil pad, making it more comfortable for many modern shooters while affecting collector originality. Despite the modification, the shotgun presents very well and remains an excellent field or sporting shotgun.

Condition:
Very good overall condition. Strong blued finish with light handling wear. Walnut stock and forearm remain attractive with minor field marks. Recoil pad added and stock shortened from original dimensions. Mechanically appears sound. Bore should be inspected but appears clean from visible areas.
