Winchester Model 37 Steelbilt 20 Gauge Single Shot Shotgun

Classic Winchester Model 37 Steelbilt single-shot shotgun chambered in 20 gauge. Features the distinctive break-action design with exposed hammer, blued steel receiver and barrel, smooth walnut stock and forearm, and factory bead front sight. Barrel markings identify it as a Winchester Model 37 Steelbilt 20 gauge with choke-marked barrel.

This example is in excellent used condition for its age. The metal retains a very attractive dark finish with only light handling and age-related wear. The walnut is equally nice, showing good color and grain with scattered minor handling marks but no obvious major damage visible in the photos. Overall, this is a particularly clean example of Winchester’s classic American utility single-shot shotgun.

The Model 37 has developed a solid collector following, and clean 20-gauge examples are especially appealing compared with the many heavily used field guns encountered today.
