Offered here is an original World War I U.S. military Model 1916 leather pistol holster manufactured by Warren Leather Goods Company of Worcester, Massachusetts, in 1918.

Designed for the legendary Colt Model 1911 .45 ACP service pistol, the M1916 holster was standard U.S. military equipment during the First World War and continued in service for decades afterward.

This example features the classic brown leather construction, large embossed U.S. insignia on the front closure flap, original brass closure stud, and military-style rear attachment hooks.

The reverse retains the Warren Leather Goods Co. manufacturer marking and 1918 production date.

Condition: Good original, well-used condition with considerable age-related leather wear, scuffing, scratches, finish loss, and creasing. Original military character and patina throughout. The leather remains in its original configuration, with visible stitching and hardware. Please examine photographs carefully for condition.
