WWII Aircraft Loop Antenna LP-31-A – Radio Direction Finder Assembly
Original WWII-era aircraft radio direction finding loop antenna, marked LP-31-A. This style of loop antenna was used in airborne radio navigation systems to determine signal direction and assist with navigation.
This example is a complete assembly, including the loop ring, rotating base, and original connector ports. The unit retains its original military finish with honest age and light wear, showing no signs of repainting or modification. A solid, untouched piece.
These antennas were commonly mounted on WWII aircraft and occasionally naval applications as part of radio direction finding (RDF) systems. An excellent display piece for aviation, Signal Corps, or WWII electronics collectors.
Condition:
Very good original condition with expected age-related wear. Untested.

Hard-to-find complete assembly. Displays well and pairs nicely with other WWII radio or radar components.
