Original WWII-era Aircraft Radio Corporation (ARC) aircraft radio power supply assembly featuring two Continental Electric radio dynamotors mounted on a common aircraft rack. Includes:
• ARC Type 11522 / CE Co. DM310A – 28V input to 100V DC output
• ARC Type 11523 / CE Co. DM310A – 28V input to 350V DC output
Manufactured by Continental Electric Co., Newark, New Jersey for Aircraft Radio Corporation. These dynamotors converted aircraft battery power into the high-voltage DC required by airborne radio transmitters and receivers. Retains original wrinkle finish, data plates, aircraft connectors, and mounting tray. A desirable component from WWII aviation communications equipment and an excellent display piece for aircraft radio, radar, and military electronics collections.
