WWII AN/APS-4 Aircraft Radar Equipment Manual Set 1943-45 Original USAAF Navy Binder
WWII AN/APS-4 Aircraft Radar Equipment Manual Set 1943-45 Original USAAF Navy Binder
Original World War II AN/APS-4 Aircraft Radar Equipment technical manual collection housed in an original blue military loose-leaf binder. This set contains three original editions of the operating instructions for the famous AN/APS-4 airborne radar system, documenting revisions made throughout the war.
The AN/APS-4 was one of the first successful pod-mounted airborne radar systems used by the U.S. Navy and Army Air Forces for night interception, maritime patrol, anti-submarine warfare, and strike aircraft. Original manuals for this historically important radar system are increasingly difficult to find, especially as a complete revision set.
