WWII Bendix Radio Type MN-52H Azimuth Control / Radio Compass Indicator
Original WWII-era Bendix Radio Type MN-52H Azimuth Control unit, made by Bendix Radio Division, Baltimore, Maryland. Large 0–360 degree azimuth dial marked “Set to 0 for homing / Set to 90 for rain static”, with control lever and light switch. This would have been part of an aircraft radio compass / direction-finding navigation system, used to aid homing and bearing indication. Nice aviation display piece with strong cockpit/instrument-panel look. Shows age, wear, grime, and untested condition, but presents well.
