WWII British Wilkinson Sword W.S.C Pattern 1907 Lee Enfield Bayonet w/ Scabbard
WWII British Wilkinson Sword W.S.C Pattern 1907 Lee Enfield Bayonet w/ Scabbard
Original British Pattern 1907 / No. 1 Mk I bayonet manufactured by Wilkinson Sword Company. The ricasso is marked “W.S.C.” and retains additional British inspection and acceptance markings. This long sword bayonet was designed for the SMLE / Lee-Enfield rifle and the Pattern 1907 remained in British service through both World Wars.
This example remains in good original used condition with an attractive aged military finish. The blade shows normal handling, finish wear and scattered age-related marks but remains full and displays well. Original wood grip panels remain solid with expected service wear. Pommel, muzzle ring and locking mechanism are intact.
Includes its leather-bodied scabbard with metal throat and tip. The scabbard shows considerable original finish loss, scuffs and age wear consistent with military use, but presents nicely with the bayonet.
A very recognizable British military bayonet and a desirable Wilkinson Sword-marked example for the Lee-Enfield, British militaria or WWII collection.
