Original vintage U.S. military radar/electronics component marked “OAJ – RESONANCE CHAMBER – TYPE CYT-14AAL – NXS 3932.” This is a substantial cavity/resonance assembly from the early microwave-radar era, likely intended as part of a radar transmitter/receiver or test system.

The unit features a large cylindrical metal resonance chamber mounted in its original heavy brackets, an adjustable tuning control, silver-colored calibration/index bands, and a removable circular component marked “OAJ TYPE CYT-66AUL.” A clear hemispherical protective cover is fitted to one end. A separate threaded probe/component is also present as photographed.

These cavity-type assemblies were used to tune or control microwave-frequency circuits at a time when conventional coils and capacitors became impractical at radar frequencies. The heavy construction and specialized tuning arrangement are characteristic of early military microwave equipment.

Condition is very good for its age with scattered scratches, finish wear, dust and deterioration/loss to portions of the original instruction label. The data plate and type designation remain clearly readable. Untested and sold as a collectible/display component rather than guaranteed functional equipment.
