Original WWII-era U.S. Navy Type CACS-23ABX Adapter Control Unit, made for the Bureau of Ships as a unit of Model SJ-1 Radar Equipment. Manufactured by Lyon & Healy, Inc. with Western Electric Company listed as contractor. Front panel is marked for IFF REC / IFF RFC and IFF Gain, indicating use with radar identification-friend-or-foe control systems.

Unit has its original data plate, gray Navy finish, mounting brackets, connectors, switch, and control panel. Shows age, paint wear, oxidation, and surface wear from service/storage. Untested and sold as collectible military radio/radar equipment.
