WWII German Feldpost Letter & Envelope-February 1944-Paratrooper School Address

Original WWII German Feldpost letter with its matching wartime envelope, dated February 16, 1944.

The handwritten letter is addressed “Lieber Rudi!” (“Dear Rudi!”) and consists of two full handwritten pages. It discusses family correspondence, packages, health concerns, leave, travel, and everyday wartime life. The letter closes affectionately with greetings and is signed “Mutti” (“Mother”), giving the piece a strong personal and family connection.

The accompanying envelope is addressed to Rudolf Weiß and appears to reference a Fallschirmjäger school/unit at Fallingbostel, making this an especially interesting piece for collectors of German airborne, Feldpost, or personal wartime correspondence.

The handwriting remains strong and legible throughout.

The envelope shows expected postal handling, corner and edge wear, age toning and minor creasing. Period handwritten notations are present on the reverse.
