WWII German Luftwaffe Enlisted/NCO Breast Eagle
WWII German Luftwaffe Enlisted/NCO Breast Eagle
An original Second World War German Luftwaffe enlisted/NCO breast eagle (Hoheitsabzeichen), machine embroidered in silver-gray thread on its original blue-gray wool backing. This classic Luftwaffe national emblem features the spread-wing eagle clutching a swastika and was worn above the right breast pocket on service tunics by enlisted personnel and non-commissioned officers. Machine-embroidered examples on blue-gray wool were the standard issue throughout most of the war.
This example has been removed from a uniform and shows honest period wear consistent with service use. The embroidery remains well defined with attractive silver-gray thread, and the original wool backing is intact. A desirable original piece for collectors of WWII German militaria, Luftwaffe insignia, or uniform displays.
Condition: Very good original condition with light wear from age and uniform removal. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description.
