WWII German NSDAP Enamel Party Flag Pin/Political Lapel Badge

Original-style WWII German NSDAP political flag badge fashioned in the form of a waving Nazi Party flag. The obverse features a red enamel flag with a central white circular field and black swastika, bordered by dark metal outlining and attached to a vertically represented flagstaff.

Unlike the standard circular NSDAP membership badge, this is a decorative political/supporter-style flag pin. Small flag-form badges were produced in a variety of configurations during the Third Reich period and were intended for wear on civilian clothing rather than as military uniform insignia.

The front retains particularly attractive enamel, with the red, white and black coloration remaining strong. Fine stippled/textured detailing is visible beneath the translucent red enamel, while the molded folds along the upper and lower edges create the appearance of a flag moving in the wind.

The reverse has a darkened metal finish and retains its horizontal safety-pin style attachment, including hinge and catch. No RZM or manufacturer marking is visible in the supplied photograph. This is important because marked RZM examples are easier to attribute conclusively; unmarked political pins also require careful authentication, so we would avoid assigning a specific maker from the photographs alone. Standard period NSDAP badges are known with horizontal pin-back arrangements, although this flag design is distinct from the standard membership badge. 

Condition appears very good, with strong enamel, attractive age toning to the metal, and only minor handling wear. The reverse shows oxidation/patina consistent with age. The pin assembly remains present.
