WWII German Third Reich Arno Breker Brass Door Plate Framed Historical Display
WWII German Third Reich Arno Breker Brass Door Plate Framed Historical Display
Impressive large framed WWII German historical display centered around an original-style Arno Breker-Berlin brass architectural door finger/push plate featuring a raised German national eagle and swastika within a circular wreath.
The plate has the distinctive elongated architectural form associated with Breker-produced fittings, with textured brass surface, mounting holes, raised eagle relief, and small maker lettering running along the lower curved edge consistent with known examples marked Arno Breker-Berlin GmbH / Steinbildhauerwerkstätten.
The plate is professionally mounted in a large wood frame alongside period/historical imagery, including a photograph of Adolf Hitler in Paris with architect Albert Speer and sculptor Arno Breker in front of the Eiffel Tower. The inclusion of this image appears intentional and directly relates to the Breker attribution of the architectural fitting. Additional historical photographs and a French Belle-Île-en-Mer card complete the display.
A very visually impressive piece of Third Reich architectural memorabilia and an excellent wall display for an advanced WWII, German militaria, architectural, or Arno Breker collection.
The brass plate shows age-related patina, surface wear and discoloration consistent with an older architectural fitting. The framed display presents very well overall. We have not removed the plate from the frame, and no claim is being made that it originated from the location depicted in the photographs. Please examine all photographs closely for condition and details.
